BOA St. Louis Super Regional 2007
The BOA (Music for All) St. Louis Super Regional starts today. It is the first Super Regional of the year consisting of over 50+ bands judged over two days. Fourteen of those will be selected to compete in the Finals Saturday night. Notable bands include the 2006 Grand National Champion, Broken Arrow HS with their prelims performance Friday night.
The other Regional on Saturday is in Towson, Maryland. There is a band coming from Utah, Lone Peak HS, that is attending this Regional. Hopefully they are flying because that would be a long bus ride.

Southwind goes Inactive for 2008
Mike Loeffelholz, Executive Director of the Southwind Drum and Bugle Corps announced today that the drum corp is going inactive for the 2008 season for financial reasons. The organization will still be active in the community sponsoring the Drums Across the Bluegrass drum corp show as well as searching for partnerships and raising money. They plan to field a corp in the 2009 season after re-evaluating operations and setting up a more stable financial base.
